Intro to The Nakshatras
There are 27 nakshatras aka lunar mansions. These are evenly divided portions of constellations which surround the Earth, like an ouroboros, from East to West and each is named after the Sanskrit name of its prominent star
The Sun moves through a zodiac sign each month.
The Moon moves through a nakshatra each day.
Think of the zodiac signs as Solar. They are the flavours of expression; our conscious archetypes.
The Nakshatras are Lunar. They are the stories of our avatars; our essence.
“For reference:

When determining your ruling planet, look at the nakshatras of your Sun ☀️ Moon 🌙 and Rising/Ascendant ⬆️”
Each nakshatra has a planetary ruler, which describes its nature. In Vedic astrology, there are 9 traditional planets; Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu I will elaborate on each in upcoming blogposts
